Please read this tutorial on how to correctly send money!If the payment is not sent within 48 hours of placing your order, I will cancel your order and you will lose your slot.The entire payment must be sent before I start working on your order.I do not accept paypal payments from anyone under 15 years old, unless you can provide proof of express permission from your parents that you can use paypal for the transaction. Otherwise, anyone under 15 years old will have to pay with dA points.

edits

You may make any changes to your order if I haven't started on it yet, just send me a message!I will gladly fix any mistakes I may have made, anything I missed, or anything that just doesn't look right to you. Don't hesitate to ask me to change something!You MAY NOT edit your commission yourself. I dont mind you editing things like text on references and such, but DO NOT draw over my art or remove anything from my art. Please never remove my signature.

refunds

I do not offer refunds if the commission has already been started. I am very clear and communicative about my process and what I offer and I send multiple WIPs throughout the process. I will always do anything in my power to work with you. I do not tolerate buyer's remorse and will blacklist you if I receive a chargeback.If the art has not been started and you decide you don't want the commission anymore, need the money back, etc, I will offer an 80% refund. I will take 20% for my time.I will give you a full refund if I, for any reason, suddenly cannot finish your commission.

process

I will send you work-in-progress shots of your commission, including sketch, lines, design/coloring, and finished piece.When I send you the WIP shots, please don't hesitate to request any changes at all. I'm 100% willing to change anything to your liking, even if it's redoing things completely. Please try to be very specific and clear, and be prepared for me to ask plenty of questions.When I present you with the finished piece, you still may request small changes, like things I may have missed or forgotten about. For references and designs, I will ask you for name, gender, sexuality, short personality, 3 likes and 3 dislikes if you did not give me these beforehand.

My name is Jesse Eden Morris, better known as Quardie! I am a multimedia artist residing outside of Birmingham, Alabama with my two cats and over 100 houseplants. A few of my interests include philosophy, metaphysics, sociology, psychology, animation, plants, bugs, hiking, rocks, music, decorating, thrifting, tattoos, spirituality, and earthy colors!I own one fursuit, Micah, and regularly attend conventions like FWA and KamiCon. Feel free to approach me at cons and say hello or ask for a pic! I love interacting with y'all!I got into digital art in 2009. I was heavily influenced by the warrior cats, webkinz, and flipnote hatena communities. I used MS paint and a touchpad to create my first digital artworks, which were all warrior cats or webkinz fanart. I animated with flipnote studio for DSi, but after flipnote hatena shut down, I abandoned animation. I decided to focus on digital art. I got my start taking commissions on chickensmoothie.com, an adoptable pet website with an oekaki drawing board.

I took commissions on CS for a few months until I eventually moved to deviantART, where I could reach a wider audience. Being homeschooled, I was able to draw pretty much all day every day, and took commissions and drew very regularly up until 2016. I got severely burnt out by digital art and moved toward traditional art. I took fursuit badge commissions for a few months before taking a break from art entirely. I got a full time job in 2018 which burnt up a lot of my motivation to draw again. In 2019, I earned enough money to move out. In 2020, I was able to start HRT and get top surgery. I drew here and there throughout these years but I never kept up with it consistently and I was very inactive in the art community. It was always on my mind however and I constantly wished I could get back into it but I now had to support myself and pay bills, and I wasn't sure if I could survive on art alone. At the beginning of 2021, I found myself in a deep rut and look the leap to pursue what makes me truly happy: being creative. So here I am, pursuing full time freelance artwork again! It took a lot of bravery to pry myself away from what's expected of me and do what I truly want and love to do. I still work a few days a week at my job but I've significantly reduced my hours for the time being, leaving time and space for me to focus on art. If this goes well for me, I'm hoping I can quit my job entirely and make this my career. I'm very happy to be back!
